CHARACTERISTICS:

• It is a new post- emergence herbicide.

• Tembotrione targets the HPPD enzyme (4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase) in plants, disrupting the production of carotenoids.
• Carotenoids are pigments that protect chlorophyll from damage by sunlight. Without them, chlorophyll breaks down.
• This leads to bleaching (whitening) of weed foliage followed by death.
• It is rainfast within 4-6 hours after application.
• It has limited soil residual activity, reducing the risk of injury to subsequent crops.
• It can be mixed with other herbicides to manage a broader spectrum of weeds.
• Quick Action: Symptoms appear within 2-5 days with full weed death in 1-2 weeks.
