TECHNICAL: Gibberellic Acid 40% WSG
CHEMICAL GROUP: Gibberellins
CHARACTERISTICS:
- It is a highly effective plant growth regulator which contains Gibberellic acid.
- Gibberellic acid is a hormone extracted from plants and fungi being widely used as plant growth regulator.
- Gibberellic acid is a tetracyclic di-terpenoid hormone that regulates plant growth.
- Even though it is present in plants, it is produced at a very low rate.
- It increases size and quality of fruits, vegetables & other crops, essential for optimum growth and development.
- It also play a role in the regulation of other plant processes such as flowering, seed germination, dormancy and senescence.
- It works by mimicking the natural gibberellins in plants.
- It acts by stimulating enzyme production, especially amylase which breaks down starch into sugar during germination.
- It binds to specific receptors in plant cells and activates pathways responsible for:
- Cell elongation
- Breaking seed dormancy
- Accelerating flowering
- Increasing fruit size and quality
- Stimulating enzyme production which helps in seed germination.
CROPS: Grapes, Paddy, Wheat, Maize
